My Review

Aha, Delphine is back offering non-answers and being all mysterious. Oh wait, she actually provided answers and was forthright with Cosima, for a change! Shocking, I know. I’m not used to this Delphine always being secretive and not telling Cosima her plan just for the sake of drama. Now that we only have five episodes left, it was nice to finally get some answers in this episode. Delphine telling Cosima that she’s going to join Felix and Adele in Switzerland to work on the endgame was great and it’s really about damn time she told Cosima what the fuck the plan is. I’m sure Cosima is as tired with all these secrets as the rest of the audience.

The truth was a complete shock, though. PT, Susan, and Rachel are all willing to harvest Kira’s eggs, implant them on 1,300 surrogates just to see if the trait is heritable. There’s so many things wrong with this, I don’t even know where to start. Violating this little girl’s body and taking her free will is first and foremost. This also violates everything that we know about genetics and how the world should work. Who are these people that they can play god with Kira’s life and the lives of these clones? I want Siobhan to burn that fucking mansion to the ground with PT, Susan, Coady, and Rachel inside. Jeez.

Cosima ending up being locked up in the basement with Yanis’ corpse is not good at all. PT has no use for her anymore and her only hope now is probably Mud and Ira. Delphine is off to Switzerland and no one else will help aside from those two. Ira might not be reliable if he’s showing signs of glitching, so here’s hoping that Mud comes back to the mansion when she learns that Cosima has gone missing.

It was nice to watch Sarah and Kira bond for a change and getting along. Kira giving everyone code names was cute and I hope this actually ends up getting used in the future. Kira might be young, but she’s not stupid. It’s in their best interest to let her know what the fuck is going on and this way she would be more open about what Rachel’s doing with her.

I’ve never been a big Cophine shipper, but I guess the show had to give the shippers a bone with the two vowing that they’re in this together until the end. Loved Cosima in a tuxedo. Tatiana pulled that look off very nicely. Too bad Delphine got stuck wearing an abominable-looking white dress that was probably someone’s (unfortunate) wedding dress.

Five more episodes to go!
