Jules reports her attack, forcing everyone to relive that night; following Harris’ discovery, Ophelia tries to make things right.
Tyler got arrested? How?! I liked the fakeout in the end with all of us probably thinking Jules was going to get arrested only for the police to tell Tyler his brother is dead and that he’s being arrested for his brother’s death. This leaves Jules and Ophelia in a difficult position because surely they can’t and won’t let Tyler fall for this. There has to be a way to figure this out where none of our protagonists end up in jail. There has to be!
I was very shocked when Darlington ruled in favor of Jules, but I should have known better because it was too good to be true. Kennedy tweeting “DARLINGTON VIGILANTE! I have a target for you… #SweetVicious #JusticeForJules” made me smile because Jules and Ophelia are already ahead of her in that regard. Nate will get his due and it’s going to be so very sweet. Jules is finally able to move on so this will just be the icing on the cake.
Ophelia was willing to turn herself in so that Harris won’t incriminate himself. OMG, so selfless of her, but also very dumb, lol. Gotta love her anyway. Just glad that Jules and Harris got there in time to take her away and tell her it was a bad idea. And we got Opharris back together, yay! The scene with all three of them on the couch was so adorable. “You’re a pain in my ass, but you’re my ride-or-die.” The scene after this made me smile. “We’re gonna handle it.” “Fuck, yes!” Fuck yes, indeed.
Kennedy handing Nate the letter was a great moment and was quite rewarding. It looks like Miles is smarting up to what really happened and is calling out Nate on his bullshit. I hope Miles does something about this and tells the right people so that Nate doesn’t get away with anything.
Ophelia and Kennedy being there for the result of Jules’ hearing was very sweet. Girl power. That shot of the three of them interlocking their fingers…my heart was swelling with happiness. Female solidarity is a beautiful thing.
Mackenzie’s brief scene with Jules was really sweet and the new rule that she was going to start with the sorority was a great idea and I’m surprised that it wasn’t already a thing beforehand.
Lastly, how cute was that Snapchat of Jules with the deer filter? I cracked up when she got all bubbly for a second and then got all serious a second later. “Don’t save that.”
