My Review

Great job, Laura Prepon, for directing this episode! So cool.

Frieda and Gina are my MVPs this season (granted, there are still three episodes left so this could change) with Gloria and of course Taystee as co-MVPs. I guessed that Frieda and her merry band will be the ones to take down Piscatella and I was right. Of course she would have poison in her bunker because she’s Frieda and she’s always prepared for anything.

What Piscatella did to Red is inhumane and he needs to either die or get sent to prison for life for the abuse he inflicted on all these women. Seeing Piscatella’s backstory did not do anything to make me sympathize for what he went through. He’s fucking stupid to get involved with an inmate (nice to see Charlie from Chicago Fire playing Wes) so who is he to judge anyone or be the judge, jury, and executioner to Red? Piece of shit is what he is.

Taystee getting confused as to what’s going on with Figueroa and Caputo made me laugh as did Cindy and Janae’s commentaries about them fighting like they want to fuck each other. Oh, if they only knew, lol. I really hope these negotiations lead to something better, but now that Humps is dead, it’s more likely they won’t get anything and everyone will suffer the consequences by getting more time added to their sentences and their living situation will not improve one bit.

In a way, I’m glad those two Latina guards came back just in time to put the hostages back in the box because if Gloria succeeded in releasing them, she would have been a punching bag for the majority of the inmates. Guess one does whatever they can for the ones they love. I feel so bad for her.

Unpopular opinion (which I may have already mentioned in a previous episode): I’m so over Suzanne. Less is more, please.
