My Review

The world is ending and everyone could die, but of course the most important thing is Bellarke this, Bellarke that. This show is beyond shipping and viewers who watch the show just to ship those two is really missing the point of it all. But whatever. You do you, Bellarke shippers. You do you.

This was a very good episode with a kickass ending. There’s a lot of suspension of belief regarding the space plan, but I’m willing to disregard common sense and suspend disbelief because I’m curious how the show will make this interesting with eight of these kids up there in space trying to survive for five years. How cool was that scene where they all showed up at Becca’s lab? What a great shot. They all believe that Raven can make the rocket go up in space and that with her and Monty’s brains working together, they’re going to survive up there.

Meanwhile, back in the bunker, shit almost hit the fan. Only by gassing the Skaikru were Marcus and Jaha able to abide by Octavia’s orders to choose 100 of their people to be in the bunker. Jaha should sacrifice himself and offer up his spot. I wonder how Abby will react once she wakes up and realizes that Marcus saved her.

Octavia and Indra? They are so great together. Indra has finally found a commander who is worthy of her praise and respect just like Lexa. Octavia might be green, but she won that conclave so with Indra by her side, she will only flourish as a leader. I also really liked her saving Niylah. That was a very good scene with the two of them.

I can’t believe I was actually glad to see Echo again and especially her showing up at the right moment to save Clarke and company. I had no use for her after last week’s episode. Should be interesting to see how she’ll work with the rest of the gang up in space.
