My Review

This arc continues to be the best and I’m bummed that we won’t get to see more of it once the finale airs. I kinda prefer these versions of these character especially Ward. I have never been a fan of the character, but seeing him be a genuinely good guy here is very refreshing. I just hope that the show doesn’t bring him back next season (if there’s going to be a season five) for good because they should let bygones be bygones.

Little by little, everyone is slowly “waking up” and becoming aware that this world isn’t the real world and we are close to Daisy finding the way out and for everyone to wake up from this nightmare. I don’t want them to leave the Framework just yet, but at the same time, I want the team to beat Aida’s ass and beat it up real good.

Speaking of, I cheered so hard when Daisy threw Aida out of that window and essentially crippling her. Definitely a hell yeah moment if there ever was one. How badass were Daisy and May shooting their way out of the Triskelion? We even got that awesome scene of May shooting Hydra agents while flipping in the air. 🙌

Coulson naturally becoming a leader after The Patriot’s death was not really a surprise. He will lead everyone into victory, That last shot with him was pretty awesome: “My name is Phil Coulson and I’m an agent of SHIELD.” Fuck, yes!

I liked Jemma and Trip going on a recon mission together and I’m glad that nothing happened to them. We did have Jemma finally figuring out what Aida’s endgame is: to build a tech that would build and create matter so that she can have a real body made up of human tissue and nerves and muscles, etc. She wants to be a human so badly that she went through these great lengths just so she can feel and call herself a human. Hate to break it to you, Aida, but being human is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Fitz is so blinded with his “love” for Aida that nothing else matters to him but her happiness and safety. How the hell are they going to wake Fitz up in the Framework? Kill his father, maybe? He is the worst.
