My Review

Not much mythology in this episode except for the Observer sighting (I will always get a kick out of these), but this was still a good standalone episode. It was fun seeing the whole team being fully on board (as if they had any other choice to find Meegar) with Walter’s idea to use homing pigeons. Definitely felt like a class trip when Olivia, Peter, and Charlie drove and followed the pigeons. Charlie’s “I won’t even ask” comment cracked me up.

It was also nice to see Walter back in Astrid’s good graces again. Her bluntly telling Walter “They’re rats with wings. You’ll get over it.” was golden. His reaction seemed like he was thinking “She is right. They ARE rats with wings.” Also loved their last scene when Astrid asked him what her name is and he said “It starts with an ‘A'” and then how proud he was that he got it right, aww.

Olivia having John Scott’s memories/thoughts left in her brain was a nice way of helping her solve the case and then leading her to John’s room where he was investigating Pattern-related cases. And we had her finding out about the engagement ring and now I’m not sure if John is really good or bad. I have seen the show before and I can’t remember this part, lol.

Walter rubbing his woolen socks on the carpet and then zapping Peter with static electricity was the funniest part of the episode.

Lastly, I can stare at Anna Torv forever and not get bored. The woman is stunning and those green eyes, man. I can get lost in those eyes forever.
