Episode Title: Zombie Knows Best
Original Air Date: April 11, 2017
Episode Number: 3×02
When Liv, Clive and Ravi arrive at the scene to investigate a fatal car accident, they begin to suspect foul play was involved. Both starving, Liv and Major consume the brains of the accident victims, a well-meaning father and his angsty teenage daughter. Meanwhile, when Clive is brought in for questioning about a family that was murdered, he’s forced to reveal his past history with them. Lastly, Peyton extends an olive branch to Ravi, and Major hits a road block in his search for Natalie.
OMG, I was laughing my ass off at Major on teenage brain. That was the most hilarious thing the show has done and I kinda wish Major would be on it all the time. Robert Buckley did a fantastic job with the acting because he really channeled the mannerisms and the vocal inflections of a teenager. So many quote-worthy lines from this episode which I’ll list towards the end of this.
Liv on dad brain was also very good and seeing her reprimand Major on teenage brain was equally hilarious. Kudos to Diane Ruggiero-Wright for writing such a hilarious episode.
Great episode for Clive. No wonder he was so torn up over the deaths of Wally and Anna. I thought it was very cool how the scenes shifted from the past, the near past, and the present. What wasn’t cool was Clive’s mustache, lol. Never again, please. That wasn’t a good look for him.
It was nice to see how Clive’s relationship with Wally and Anna developed. I even got a kick out of Anna teasing Clive several times especially regarding Game of Thrones, hee. Anna had a great sense of humor.
So the cops are not close at all as to who killed Wally and his family. They now have hundreds of suspects thanks to that idiot neighbor who posted the location of Wally’s house. What the fuck, dude?
As for the other case, I was cringing when it was revealed that the underage daughter was screwing her mother’s husband and her stepfather. Gross. Kinda had a feeling it was the mom who killed the Chens. All because she didn’t want to lose her inheritance and to not get publicly shamed.
Clive watching Liv and Major cook and eat the brains was something else. His reactions were priceless. I’m sure he’ll get used to it eventually.
And now for the hilarious quotes:
“Is that mustache real?”
“You look like a black Tony Stark.”
“You should eat the daughter.”
“She slept with Blaine, which, first of all, ew, and second of all, I can’t even.”
“You let a nine-year old watch Game of Thrones?”
