My Review

Way to come back from hiatus, show. That was an awesome episode which built on the awesome-ness of the last episode. I have so many thoughts!

I’m not the biggest fan of Ward because he really should have been sent packing sooner than he did, but I’m kind of interested in him actually, maybe, potentially being a good guy in the Framework. Him working with the Resistance was a shock and Jemma was equally shocked judging from her reaction. “You’re a mole? What a surprise.” I laughed at this.

Seeing Daisy and Jemma reunited in the Framework made me breathe a huge sigh of relief. They make such a great team and I’m sure they can figure out how to get out of the Framework even after Aida altered the programming. They just need time to convince the rest of the team to wake up from this and to fight to get out of the Framework.

Poor May. She’s still trying to atone for what happened at Cambridge and it looks like Fitz is pushing that button whenever he feels the need to do so. That was low when he brought this up. May looked like she was about to kill him. I can’t wait until Daisy and Jemma wake May up because she can be a huge asset.

Oh man, Fitz looked dapper in his three piece suit and that haircut. So he’s like this because he probably never met Jemma or because of Jemma’s death. Stone cold. And it looks like he has a thing going on with Aida. Of course Aida would program her and Fitz to be together in the Framework because she has a soft spot for him.

Glad to see that Daisy was successful in waking up Coulson. “Daisy?” brought a smile to my face. Good job, you two! If Coulson gets all of his memories back in the next episode, I can’t wait to see his reaction to seeing Ward, lol. That’s going to be interesting to say the least.

The credits being changed to Agents of Hydra was shocking and chill-inducing. Is this the world we live in now? Is the US being run by Hydra? Sure feels like it with immigrants being discriminated and banned left and right. Disheartening.

Anyway, I’m ending this review with a few quotes that made me laugh:

“You look like a bag lady.”

“I saw that you were dead. Wait, are you still dead?”
“No, I’m feeling much better.”

“This isn’t the Framework, this is hell.”
