Diggle and Felicity are shocked by Oliver’s decision to call on the Bratva to help take down Prometheus. Concerned the Bratva may overstep, Diggle has a hard conversation with Oliver about what happens if things go south. Meanwhile, Felicity learns something shocking at Helix.
Diggle is the best. He convinced Oliver to not shun his teammates and to keep the crusade going and not back down from whatever stupidity Chase instilled in him. Great scenes with Diggle and Oliver and their relationship is the best right up there with the Felicity/Oliver relationship and the OTA relationship. I’m just glad Oliver came to his senses in this episode and the show didn’t decide to drag this out because that would have been boring and unnecessary because we all know this hanging the hood thing will not last long.
Helix knowing who Felicity is and her being a part of Team Arrow cracked me up. Of course they would know. They know practically everything else about everyone on planet earth. It was cool to see Felicity on the field and helping the team by revealing Chase as Prometheus to the public. Great job.
So Anatoli and Oliver are now at odds. Did not expect this twist. So what exactly did Oliver do in the last few hours of his time in Russia that Anatoli referred to in the beginning of the episode that left their relationship in such a tenuous state? I wonder if Anatoli will die this season? Is he going to be another person added to the list of people that Oliver cares and dies by being associated with him?
Chase escaping was not a surprise. The guy is too good for the average cop or law enforcement agent. I cringed at how violent he got when he started beating that guy whom he already probably killed by throwing a pen through his eye. There’s no way this season is ending without Oliver killing Chase for good, is there? I’m expecting it at this point.
Lastly, can the writers please stop making Rene say “hoss” all the time? It’s getting really old.
