Episode Description

After their wild home date turns into a tearful breakup, Izzy decides she needs to move back home to Colorado to deal with her issues. Unaware, Jack and Emma continue to deal with the fallout of what’s beginning to feel like a blur of bad choices.

My Review

Nina and Izzy, oh my God. This friendship has been one of the best things about the show and I didn’t expect the show to actually flesh out Nina’s character, but they have done so little by little and we even got to know in this episode that she almost got married at 18 years old. She finally told Izzy about this because if she didn’t, Izzy would not have known her the way that Nina wants her to (or something like that). It was so sad when Izzy said that she’s leaving Nina just like the asshole who left Nina when she was 18 years old.

I don’t doubt for a second that Izzy is not going to get on that plane to Colorado. No way this is happening so let’s not even pretend. It did make for some great scenes with Nina, though, but there’s no suspense here.

Ava’s Photoshop (nonexistent) skills had me laughing so hard. OMG, I really thought she was going to come up with something great and when we saw how horrible it was, I could not stop laughing. Dave, Jack, and Emma describing the picture was the best. My favorite was when one of them said “It looks like Satan’s Christmas card.” LOL. Emma’s “Do you have no idea about proportion?” also had me cackling.

So it looks like all this worked, but the next episode we’ll see how well it worked. Will Lori back off the Izzy train or will something happen to trigger her suspicions again?

Emma going off against Ava and threatening her was AMAZING. Ava really was shaking in her boots (so to speak) and the actress played that really well.

I can’t believe there’s only one episode left. Can’t wait to get started on season two.
